Gilderoy Lockhart – Kenneth Branagh
Harry Potter‘s Gilderoy Lockhart may have hidden his incompetence with a fair share of narcissism in the Harry Potter series and was almost successful in shutting down Hogwarts with his incompetence, but he was a charmer alright.
However, the fellow had a great smile. How could someone hate a character, when it was played by the great Kenneth Branagh, who even managed to make a despicable character charming. The combination of false bravado and charisma he brought was appreciated by one and all.
Apart from his role in Harry Potter, he has been the director and actor of a number of Shakespearean adaptations, such as Henry V, Hamlet, Othello, and more. In the film franchise, Harry was seen to be having a great bond with Cho Chang and became quite close in the film, The Order of the Phoenix. Their steamy kiss before Cedric Diggory’s picture was much talked about!
The Harry Potter film franchise was the biggest film series that she was part of. She also played a minor role as a nurse in the film T2 Trainspotting as a nurse. She is now more interested in doing theatre work.
Peter Pettigrew – Timothy Spall
Actor Timothy Spall best known as Peter Pettigrew, or Wormtail was recently seen on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival looking a slimmer version of his former self. He was there promoting his film, The Journey, a true story of two political enemies who become friends during the Irish Revolution.

The last time we saw the character of Alastor in The Deathly Hallows Part 1 while helping Harry in the Battle of the Seven Potters. While his sons are jostling for fame along with their dad Brendan Gleeson, they still cannot beat their father when it comes to acting.
No wonder, Brendan still finds him busy in the world of acting appearing in films such as Edge of Tomorrow, and Paddington 2, and more. Well, we can't wait to see him in more films, making the most of his acting talent.
Sybill Trelawney – Emma Thompson

The actress played the role of Professor Sybill Trelawney in three Harry Potter films, which include the three films in this franchise, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and the third film is, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Young Tom Riddle – Hero Fiennes Tiffin
This dreamy young actor has been making quite a name for himself since he played the role of an 11-year-old Riddle in the Half-Blood Prince. Yes, Hero Fiennes-Tiffin is Ralph Fiennes's nephew but this actor is not only known for his surname but also for his immeasurable talents and that includes modeling and playing the role of Harry Styles-inspired Hardin Scott in the After series.
It is in the process of shooting two more sequels, despite it being panned by critics. As it enjoyed a commercial success starring opposite Katrine Langford's sister Josephine.
Fiennes-Tiffin has also been part of the insanely famous series, Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in The Silencing. Julie Walters has still been able to keep up in the world of acting and acted in films such as Paddington 2, Brooklyn, and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. Xenophilius was the father of Harry's eccentric friend Luna Lovegood, and he was the publisher of the Quibbler magazine. In the film, he also teaches Harry about the symbol and he works as the catalyst in the film, so his was a key part that sets the ball rolling in the film.
After completing the Harry Potter series, Ifans has been part of several other films such as The Five Year Engagement and The Amazing Spider-Man. In 2021, he will take on the role of Rasputin in The King’s Man.
Quirinus Quirrell – Ian Hart
Actor Ian Hart began his foray into the Harry Potter film franchise as Professor Quirinus Quirrell. In Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Quirrell is playing one of the wizards in the pub who greets Hagrid along with the boy who lived. At first, Quirrell looks harmless.
With a verbal stutter, and him being scared at the slightest unexpected sound, he looks scared out of his wit's end. Who would know he was a determined villain as well behind his nervous facade?
His acting career took off to a flying start after starring in the Harry Potter film franchise. Hart has been keeping himself busy with popular TV shows since his outing at the Harry Potter franchise, films such as The Terror, Bates Motel, The Bridge, Finding Neverland, The Man Who Crossed Hitler. We hope he continues to entertain his fans with different types of films.
Helena Ravenclaw – Kelly Macdonald
Harry Potter fans recognize Kelly Macdonald as Helena Ravenclaw or the Gray Lady, the ghost of Ravenclaw Tower. Her first film role was in Trainspotting at the age of 19. She was very nervous at the thought of sharing screens with experienced actors so much so that she hid in bathrooms. Well, she has come a long way since then.
In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, Harry asks her about the diadem Horcrux during the ongoing Battle of Hogwarts. Apparently, when she was filming the scene she had to make do with the cardboard version of Harry.
Some of the other films she has been part of are Gosford Park, No Country for Old Men, Brave, Black Mirror, Intermission, and Boardwalk Empire. She also won an Emmy award for the film The Girl in the Cafe and won an Emmy Award for it.
Nymphadora Tonks – Natalia Tena
Although admittedly, she underwent a terrible audition, Natalia Tena still landed the role of Nymphadora Tonks and was excellent in portraying the unique traits of metamorphagus. And yet she never even read the Harry Potter books, so she had no clue about the madness surrounding the Potter universe.
Metamorphmagus Nymphadora Tonks, an Auror who fell in love with werewolf Remus Lupin and both of them lost their lives in the final war. Her look was quite different, as she kept her hair short, spiky, and quirkily colored and answered only when she was called by her surname only.
Nymphadora Tonks was undeniably one of the coolest characters in Harry Potter, it helped because she brought her real-life musician traits into her character. ( Natalia Tena was the lead singer of Molotov Jukebox). Apart from contributing to the Harry Potter films, she also played the wildling Osha in the popular television series, Game of Thrones.
Gregory Goyle – Josh Herdman
Who graduates from Hogwarts and turns his day job, into something as different as MMA fighting? Well, Josh Herman! Yes, that's right, Gregory Goyle, the right-hand man of Draco Malfoy, traded his wand for gloves and showed his might at the MMA fighter's ring. And he's quite great at what he does.
Josh Herdman is a mixed martial artist and he followed his father's, Martin Herdman’s footsteps as he became an actor but also pursuing a completely separate career. His father was a Rugby league footballer, and Josh followed his interests keenly and began to learn MMA.
However, he maintains two careers simultaneously and does the odd film or two, if the script catches his fancy. One of them is of course the Robin Hood (2018) and the popular British detective series Marcella and action-packed TV series Alex Rider.
Rufus Scrimgeour – Bill Nighy
The Harry Potter films boasted of some of the best British actors among the cast, and Nighy continued to work with them both before the Potter films and after. However it was the film, Love Actually that changed Nighy’s career in numerous ways, and he teamed up with many of his fellow Potter stars in the film, including Alan Rickman (Professor Snape in the Harry Potter film) and Emma Thompson (Professor Trelawney in the Harry Potter film).
Bill Nighy's role in The Deathly Hallows: Part 1, was a glorified cameo. Although his role in the film was small yet it managed to create an impression on the audience's mind.
The actor, Bill Nighy, has been part of many of our favorite films. This English actor was known for his acting stint in a mini-series The Men’s Room in 1991. Since then the actor has been keeping himself busy with plenty of work in the world of theatre, film, and television. Some of his key works include Pirates of the Caribbean, Underworld , and more.

He has also wowed us with his performance in films such as A Man for All Seasons, 10 Rillington Place, The Elephant Man, Scandal, and many more. John was honored with the Commander of the British Empire and the Knight Bachelor title as well as Knighthood for his contributions to drama.
He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the year 2015 and breathed his last on January 25, 2017, at the age of 77. We miss him a lot. His life insurance plans have probably benefitted his family after his expiry.
Bellatrix Lestrange – Helena Bonham Carter
Much before she floored us with her portrayal of Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter films, Helena Bonham Carter had already carved a niche for herself and of course, garnered an impressive net worth. She kickstarted her film career as Lucy Honeychurch in the 1985 film, A Room with a View.
Later, she went on to portray roles in other films such as Lady Jane, Great Expectations, Cinderella, and Les Misérables. Helena has been bestowed upon with a host of honors till now and the list includes more than two Screen Actors Guild Awards, one British Film Academy Award, an International Emmy Award, and a lot more.
In her role as the villainous Bellatrix, she really stood out. She was the last and the best lieutenant of Lord Voldemort. Helena carried off the role with elan in four films of the Harry Potter series – right from Order of the Phoenix in 2007 to Deathly Hallows in 2012.
Lord Voldemort – Ralph Fiennes
Lord Voldemort. The name was enough to frighten the 90s kids. Ralph Fiennes did an excellent job in portraying the role of the main antagonist in the Harry Potter film franchise. He made the iconic villain look damn creepy and that’s where Ralph’s success lies.
Just like Voldemort has always been referred to as He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named in the series, the English actor has a name that’s difficult to be named. His full name is Ralph Nathaniel Twistleton-Wykeham-Fiennes. Phew!
Aside from the Potter franchise, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art alumni has done tremendous jobs in films like The Grand Budapest Hotel, Great Expectations, The End of the Affair, and Maid in Manhattan, among others. Starting his career in the industry in the year 1985, Ralph is still going strong. On the personal front, his marital relationship with actress Alex Kingston lasted for four years.
Cornelius Fudge – Robert Hardy
As the Minister of Magic in the Harry Potter franchise, Cornelius Fudge had the wizarding world’s governing body fully under his control. The role was portrayed on-screen by the English actor, Robert Hardy.
Boasting a long career from 1958 to the year 2017, Hardy earned a huge reputation for himself in the industry. He starred in films such as The Spy Who Came in from the Cold, 10 Rillington Place, Sense and Sensibility, and An Ideal Husband, aside from four Potter movies.
He has also played the title role in Winston Churchill: The Wilderness Years, the television series. Hardy was married twice, first with Elizabeth Fox and then with Sally Pearson. He took retirement in 2017 and it was that same year when he left for his heavenly abode at the age of 91. He has left a huge void behind.
Vincent Crabbe – Jamie Waylett
Jamie Waylett’s only claim to fame was his portrayal of Vincent Crabbe in six Harry Potter movies. Hailing from the Slytherin house, he was one of two minions of Draco Malfoy. They all were in Harry’s year and their job was to intimidate other students.
He was killed in the sixth film of the series. That’s why there was no Crabbe in the last two. This was Waylett’s only acting role as he was later on involved in something which actually ended his career. Caught on the wrong side of the law, he was forced to serve a prison sentence of two years.
Since then, Waylett has preferred to keep himself away from the public eye. we guess, his lawyers have advised him to do so. We are not sure whether he would make a return to acting or not. But we wish to see him on screen again.
Katie Bell – Georgina Leonidas
Georgina Leonidas is a 31-year-old British actress who mesmerized us with her portrayal of Katie Bell in two Harry Potter films – Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the sixth installment, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, the eighth and final installment of the entire franchise.
Though her role was short-lived, Georgina made sure to endear herself to our hearts. Post Potter, she has done a few films but has mainly featured in television shows such as The Basil Brush Show, Wizards vs. Aliens, New Tricks, and Father Brown.
She has also been a part of several plays like Les Misérables, That Face, Beauty and the Beast, and Black Coffee, among others. Georgina has been able to amass her own wealth by now and that’s commendable. We are looking forward to seeing her more on the big screen.
Barty Crouch Sr. – Roger Lloyd Pack
Do you remember the character of Barty Crouch Sr. in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire? The role was made iconic by the British actor, Roger Lloyd Pack. Barty Crouch Sr. was the Department of Magical Law Enforcement head when the main antagonist, Voldemort came to power.
He was an inflexible individual who never compromised with the rules Roger has been a part of several high-profile movies like Interview with the Vampire, Vanity Fair, The Living, and the Dead, and Hamlet.
He has been a popular figure on TV as well, appearing on shows such as The Vicar of Dibley, Only Fools and Horses, and Doctor Who. The sad part is, Roger decided to take retirement from his career in the year 2014, after enjoying the career of 54 years in the industry. His acting skills are still pretty much talked about.
James Potter – Adrian Rawlins
Voldemort, in an attempt to kill Harry, who was destined to vanquish him, ends up killing his parents James Potter and Lily Potter when Harry was just an infant. The role of James Potter was portrayed by Adrian Rawlins.
His performance received appreciation from the audience and Adrian’s career reached a new height. The British actor is also much popular for his role as Arthur Kidd in the 1989 horror flick, The Woman in Black. He was recently seen on-screen playing the character of Nikolai Fomin in the 2019 film, Chernobyl.
Adrian has been in this industry since the year 1980 and the 63-year-old has no intentions of retiring. That’s great indeed. His net worth has been good enough to last him long. We are eager to know what his next projects are. Hopefully, he has something exciting for us.
Fleur Delacour – Clemence Poesy
We first saw Fleur Delacour in the fourth film, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and we immediately fell in love with Clemence Poesy who portrayed the role. Fleur, being a student of another school named Beauxbatons Academy, was Harry’s competitor and emerged as a champion in the Triwizard Tournament.
Though she was a bit aloof initially, she later got warmer with Potter and his friends. Later on, she finishes fourth in the Triwizard Tournament. The French actress has earned a good reputation for herself as a model as well. She is pretty much active in both the television and film industry since the year 1999, even though she started working in 1993.
Her earnings have been quite sufficient to keep her away from financial issues. She has played the role of Barbara in the Christopher Nolan-directed film, Tenet in the year 2020.
Amos Diggory – Jeff Rawle
Jeff Rawle touched the strings of our hearts with his performance as Amos Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. He really stood out in the film. However, he didn’t get as much credit as he deserved for his portrayal.
The moment when he mourns the passing of a child happens to be one of the best scenes in the movie. Our hearts went out for Amos. Jeff has been working since the year 1973 and shows no signs of leaving the industry. We are thankful to him for that.
He is also popular for his role as Silas Blissett in the British soap opera, Hollyoaks. As far as his personal life is concerned, Jeff is in a marital relationship with Nina Marc since 1988 and the duo are parents to four children. He is 69-year-old and we want him to focus on his health.
Vernon Dursley – Richard Griffiths
We loved Richard Griffiths’ performance in the Harry Potter series where he played the role of Uncle Vernon. But that was not the first time he earned eminence. Having portrayed roles in films such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Sleepy Hollow, The French Lieutenant’s Woman, and Gandhi, Richard had already established himself in tinsel town as a skilled performer.
As a widely acclaimed actor, he received awards including one Drama Desk Award, one Laurence Olivier Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award, as well as one Tony Award. He worked incessantly in this industry from 1974 to 2013, before leaving for his heavenly abode.
Complications post a heart surgery led to his demise. That’s indeed unfortunate. His wife, Heather Gibson lives on with his memories. The actor has surely left a good sum in his bans for her. Rest in peace, Richard.
Argus Filch – David Bradley
The character of Argus Filch in the Harry Potter series is bound to stick to our memories since that was one of those roles that we would never like to forget. Filch works as the caretaker of Hogwarts and is known for his ill-temper.
That hardly makes him loveable. But his penchant for sadistic punishments and his knowledge about the secrets as well as the short-cuts inside the castle make the character stand out. Only a few, i.e. Harry, Ron, Hermione, the Wesley brothers, and Voldemort could match him on that front. This interesting character was portrayed on the big screen by the veteran British actor, David Bradley.
The 79-year-old went on finding more fame with his role of Walder Frey in Game of Thrones, the fantasy series on HBO. He has also appeared as the Solomon and First Doctor in the TV sci-fi, Doctor Who. Therefore, it’s normal for him to have a loaded bank account.
Seamus Finnigan – Devon Murray
Devon Murray was selected for roles in both Gangs of New York and Harry Potter. But thankfully, he went on board with the latter. His portrayal of Seamus Finnigan in the iconic series struck a chord with the audience.
He was in Gryffindor, the same house to which Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger belonged. Though he misunderstood Harry initially, he later apologizes to him and helps him fight against the Dementors. Seamus appears in all the eight films of the Potter franchise.
Therefore, becomes one of the handfuls of characters to do so. He hasn’t been that active after the last installment. He entered into a relationship with Shannon McCaffrey and the duo share a son. We know he is a responsible father and does everything required to secure his son’s future. Our best wishes to him.
Nearly Headless Nick – John Cleese
John Marwood Cleese is a comedian, actor, producer, and screenwriter, all rolled into one. He first gained attention at the largest festival in the world, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He is the co-founder of the comedy troupe named Monty Python. It came into existence in the latter half of the 60s decade and created Monty Python’s Flying Circus, the popular sketch show.
John has been an immensely talented individual and has won praises and acclamation for his acting. He was seen portraying the character of Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington KG or Sir Nicholas or just Nearly Headless Nick.
Nick is the ghost of the Gryffindor house and Harry Potter’s friend. John was quite loved for this role. Having starred in several films before and after Potter, the actor has earned enough to keep a bankruptcy attorney at bay.
Mundungus Fletcher – Andy Linden
Andy Linden had very little screen time when he portrayed Mundungus Fletcher in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1, the seventh film in the Harry Potter series. But he made the best use of it and did complete justice to the role.
The character is involved in several illegal activities, despite being a member of the Order of the Phoenix, set up by Hogwarts headmaster, Albus Dumbledore. However, he stays loyal to Dumbledore. Andy has been a fantastic actor and has been praised for his performances in films viz. Oliver Twist, Rise of the Footsoldier, All in the Game, and Rise of the Footsoldier Part II.
He has been working as an actor since the year 1988 and the thoughts of taking retirement haven’t yet crossed his mind. We hope to see him come up with some excellent work in the future.
Dolores Umbridge – Imelda Staunton
Dolores Umbridge is one villainous character from the Harry Potter novel by J.K. Rowling that readers hated. However, when talks were on about the character to be portrayed on screen, people were apprehensive of whether justice will be done. After Imelda Staunton took on the role, there was one common conclusion that everyone came to.
No one could showcase the negative side of Dolores better than Imelda. Her performance was widely acclaimed for the perfection she brought in her performance. She has starred in three Harry Potter films out of eight.
Imelda has also wowed the audience with her portrayals in The Girl and Return to Cranford, for which she earned nominations for a BAFTA Award in the Best Actress in a Supporting Role category. She had her marriage with actor, Jim Carter in 1983 and happens to be the mother of actress, Bessie Carter.
Fenrir Greyback – Dave Legeno
Dave Legeno is a lot different from Fenrir Greyback, a character he played in the Harry Potter movie franchise. Fenrir was a werewolf who teams up with the Death Eaters in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.
Fenrir’s agenda is to create more werewolves as much as he can. He was so ferocious that the wizarding world was afraid of him. He attacks his prey on a full moon night and is known for his thirst for blood.
Fenrir was eventually taken down by Ron Weasley with the help of Neville Longbottom. Dave was a martial artist in real life and was trained in its various forms such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, judo, boxing, wrestling, and Muay Thai. The British actor died due to heatstroke in the year 2014. He surely had kept his life insurance policies in place.
Harry Potter – Daniel Radcliffe
Daniel Radcliffe said yes to the role of Harry Potter at the age of 11, and the tinsel town saw the meteoric rise of a bonafide star. He took time to sink his teeth into the role of Harry Potter and once he did there was no looking back. For him, awards and accolades followed in the wake of unprecedented fame and fortune.
After the culmination of the uber-successful series Radcliffe has been part of films such as The Woman in Black, Kill Your Darlings, and What If. He has also been part of Trainwreck, Victor Frankenstein, and Swiss Army Man.
Some of his TV series, include A Young Doctor's Notebook and Miracle Workers. Some of his theatre roles include, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, The Cripple of Inishmaan, and Endgame. More recently Radcliffe has been part of the Netflix show, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend.
Hermione Granger – Emma Watson
Watson was thrust into the limelight as a 10-year-old, starring as Hermione Granger in the first of the Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
She has been part of the Harry Potter franchise along with Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and the three of them went on feature in all of the following Harry Potter films.
After her stint as the popular genius witch, she has been part of films such as The Bling Ring, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Disney's version of Beauty and the Beast, and most recently Little Women in 2019, which was her last movie project. Meanwhile, she has achieved a bachelor’s degree in English literature and has successfully launched the HeForShe campaign as a UN Women Goodwill ambassador. Currently, she is concentrating on her personal life and not taking on any new projects yet.
Ron Weasley – Rupert Grint
Harry Potter has been able to work up his magic on the big screen all thanks to his support from his best friend, Ron Weasley. Well, of all the characters of the Harry Potter series, he was one of the most lovable characters you would find. So, what is he doing now?
Currently you can spot Grint in the hit series Servant, a thriller by the maverick maker M. Night Shyamalan in its second season on AppleTV+ and he has been receiving tremendous reviews for the same. His role as an uncle, staying in a luxurious brownstone with a distinctive swagger has earned him accolades from all quarters.
Personally, too he has been doing great for himself, he is in a long and loving relationship with actor Georgia Groome. Recently, they have welcomed a new baby girl, Wednesday, and they are now spending blissful days together.
Draco Malfoy – Tom Felton
Tom Felton, the British actor shot to fame with the role of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series. In his regular life, he’s a lot different from his famous character, and in his career, he has been trying several things to shake off the image.
Felton made his debut as Peagreen Clock in the fantasy comedy The Borrowers, which also had Jim Broadbent and Mark Williams, who took up the role of Professor Slughorn and Arthur Weasley respectively. Apart from this, he has been also portraying Louis T. Leonowens in the 1999 period drama, Anna and the King.
Felton might not have been been able to get past the tremendous success he achieved as Draco, but his other tremendously successful film franchises, include the recent Planet of the Apes reboot series. Well, we hope he gets to explore more such diverse roles in the future.
Minerva McGonagall – Maggie Smith
Maggie Smith is a renowned name in the world of theatre, television, and films. She started her journey in the 50s decade and has played pivotal roles in more than 70 plays and 60 films to date. No wonder, Maggie was honored with a damehood by Queen Elizabeth II in the year 1990.
Some of her prominent films are Love and Pain and the Whole Damn Thing, Clash of the Titans, My House in Umbria, Death on the Nile, so on and so forth. Maggie has been honored with Legacy Award at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in 2012 and the Bodley Medal by Oxford University’s Bodleian Libraries in the year 2016.
McGonagall was a Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry professor as well as the head of Gryffindor, one of the four houses, and the deputy headmistress. Her bank accounts are full and that’s quite normal for an actress of her stature.
Severus Snape – Alan Rickman
Before appearing in the Harry Potter franchise, Alan Rickman had already gained prominence through his roles in films like Die Hard, Sense and Sensibility, Truly, Madly, Deeply, and Galaxy Quest. His role of Severus Snape, the skilled wizard who was in love with Lily Potter, Harry’s mother, was definitely one of his best.
Snape had a feeling of hostility towards Harry because his mom chose James as her life partner. Though he was attracted to the ideology of wizard supremacy promoted by Voldemort, he, later on, worked as an agent for the headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore as well as the secret organization, the Order of Phoenix.
Rickman lost his life to pancreatic cancer in the year 2016 and is survived by his wife, Rima Horton. Hopefully, Rickman’s life insurance policies will come to her use. We do miss him a lot.
Neville Longbottom – Matthew Lewis
Matthew Lewis's work resume boasts of an impressive ten years' worth of work which includes a number of TV series and films, of course, Harry Potter, which is one of the most popular film franchises he has been part of. In a recent interview with Michael Rosenbaum on an Inside of You podcast, the actor says people still recognize him as Neville Longbottom.
One of his newest projects is the PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) series is All Creatures Great and Small, which is a reboot of an older series. This offers a great opportunity for his fans to check out Lewis in an ongoing project -- and how he performs as someone other than Neville Longbottom.
He has also been part of shows such as The Syndicate, Me Before You, Bluestone 42, and Terminal. He has also been a part of the music video by A Band of Buriers, Filth.
Albus Dumbledore – Michael Gambon
Sir Michael John Gambon excelled in the role of Professor Albus Dumbledore in the last few Harry Potter movies. With his distinctive looks, long white mane, he was just right for the role of the professor.
The British-Irish actor has been part of operated films such as The King’s Speech, Judy, Fortitude, and Cordelia. Fans have a hard time recognizing him minus his beard. He has been part of the film as James Joyce called James and Lucia.
He has also been a star of stage and screen for decades and encouraged a whole new generation of movie fans with his role as Dumbledore in six of the eight Harry Potter movies. Gambon is in his seventies now and is considering retirement from the stage theater due to memory loss. We hope he recovers soon and continues to do what he loves doing the most, acting!
Fred Weasley – James Phelps
James Phelps, along with his twin brother, Oliver, earned fame with their portrayal of Fred Weasley and George Weasley. They are the elder siblings to Ginevra Molly Weasley and Harry Potter’s best friend Ron Weasley. Automatically, they become integral members of Harry’s team. The brothers assist Harry to come out of his house arrest in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Initially, the Weasley brothers were a part of Albus Dumbledore’s army. After leaving Hogwarts, they are incorporated into Dumbledore’s secret organization, Order of the Phoenix. Though the twins are indistinguishable and even their mother can’t find out the difference between the two, Fred is a little bit more aggressive than George.
Fred speaks more than George and his date is Angelina Johnson, whom we saw in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. James surely poured a handsome amount into his bank after his appearance in the franchise.
