This world is made up of truly beautiful and bizarre people. It's what makes every passing moment on earth feel so special. With stark differences observed from one person to another, it's sad that we discriminate instead of praise these unique physical traits! But there are a few unique individuals out there - ones who draw the thin line between beautiful and bizarre, so much so that you're left speechless. One of them is Valeria Lukyanova, commonly known as Barbie. Why? Because she looks exactly like the doll you once held a couple of years (or shall we say a couple of decades?) back. During her earlier years, she moved to Ukraine, then to Mexico in 2014, when the conflict between Russia and Ukraine boiled over. Now, she's even a well-known figure in the neighboring US!

It's hard to tell what inspired her to transform into the real-life Barbie. Yes, she loved dolls and all when she was younger; but does that illicit such high expectations to become a living, breathing Barbie? And taking a look at her life, not much stands out. Her father, Valery, was in construction while her mother Irina was an employee of the Ukranian army. There was no history of any makeup artist in her family tree.

Maybe it was her father's other job that inspired her

It's no lie that Valeria was highly influenced by her father growing up. Maybe it was the fact that he lived a double life. No people, he wasn't cheating on his wife with a weight loss trainer or anything of the sort; but rather, cheating on his construction job. Valeria even says her obsession goes as far as ensuring that her measurements, hair growth, and hair dye perfectly capture the Barbie sensation.

Even before Valeria transformed herself into the Barbie we're all amused with, she's always been a natural beauty! Standing an impressive 5 feet 7 inches tall, her body fits the standard model build. Plus, her near symmetrical face with slim features adds icing to the cake. Kicking off her modeling career, Valeria had no idea that this would set her towards the path of becoming a living Barbie, not to mention having excellent professional makeup skills.

So let's delve into the bizarre lifestyle of Valeria. First, she doesn't drink or smoke (sorry guys, you'd have to be really smooth to take her out on a date). Next, she's a Breatharian. For those who don't know, Breatharianism is the belief that you can live without food (why not just go on a lean diet?), and in some special cases, even water (is there proof of this?). It's an extension of Hinduism, stating that humans can be sustained solely by prana. In recent weeks, Valeria alleges that she's reaching the final stages of subsisting on air and light alone.

Valeria is famously regarded as the Odessa Barbie. And the proof is in the pudding, ain't it? She's from Odessa and looks exactly like Barbie. In fact, Valeria has always donned a light blonde hair dye from the word go. And even though her origins began in Eastern Europe, she's now in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

We told you already  - Valeria claims that the only thing she did were breast enhancements. But looking at her face, it's hard to believe that no cosmetic surgery has been done. Valeria's sister Olga has once said that she doesn't like to refer to her sister as Barbie Doll, as Barbie Doll is usually someone not so intelligent. She thinks of her sister as a truly unique individual with a stunning appearance. Valeria is her role model, even though she has opted not to follow her sister's Barbie-look obsession. We are glad that Olga spends money in her savings account on something else rather than on useless treatments. One Valeria is enough.

NOBODY IS PERFECT

The truth is, nobody is perfect as nature also has its flaws. We have to accept this, and we did accept this. However, it seems like Valeria can't accept this fact. She believes it is possible to be perfect as in her opinion, perfection is an ongoing process. She believes people should strive towards reaching their perfection. Her philosophy of perfection also allows her to have no limitations towards reaching her ideal appearance. One thing we know about Valeria is that she believes that beauty, makeup, and cosmetics aren't everything. She believes that only through spiritual enlightenment does someone begin to experience the tangible results of a positive life! For her, life has a deeper universal meaning, and she's not confined to this planet alone.  And as crazy as it seems, we have to give her credit for putting her ideas in public without flinching.

To be honest, we don't know because she's been very secretive about how much money she makes. We know she gets an income from her music career but doesn't charge from her spiritual seminars.
